How We Work

Book Your Services Now!

Our sales and service approach is built on providing considerate and respectful service from the first interaction and well beyond project completion. While the sales and service process includes many steps, our team is here to communicate and provide transparency every step of the way.

Consultation

 We begin with a face-to-face consultation. In-depth client walkthroughs are conducted to determine all necessary requirements for the project. This information is then analyzed for design concepts and creating the project estimate. 

Estimate

The estimate stage breaks down the value of the whole project room by room or by project area. Clients will be charged for service and labor plus materials, unless they elect to purchase their own materials. This stage can be very eye-opening for clients, so we make sure to provide honest and thorough explanations for each estimated cost. 

Accepting the Estimate

Confirmation of the project and accepting of the estimate will move the client into date selection and deposit. For clients opting for the labor-only option, a 33% deposit down is due, while clients who have Up North provide full service require 50% down. Once a date is confirmed and deposit is received, an invoice is sent confirming receipt. 

Purchasing, Delivery and Installation

Once a client signs-off on the design and estimate for materials, labor, and service costs, our team moves into purchasing, delivery, and installation. Some projects may require a certain sequence of installation and Up North coordinates all aspects of those projects to ensure smooth transitions between each phase through until the job is done. 

Project Completion

Upon project completion, our team does a physical inspection of each job. The client is asked to create a punch list - a list of any flaws in the project or items they want us to take a second look at - and our team will be out the following day to review and complete. Once the punch list is complete, the final payment is requested.
